Service and maintenance is essential for high reliability in a machine. One reason that SMT can perform the service quickly and correctly, is that the organization has short distances between construction, production and service. We also have an extensive inventory of parts for quick delivery in Köping.

At service visits SMT always use original spare parts which are tested to withstand the harsh environment in a lathe cell.

SMTs machines are built according to a well planned modular system. In a breakdown, we can generally deliver a refurbished replacement modul from stock.
